Rates and Policies
San Diego Real Estate Photography PRICING MAY VARYdepending on lot size, outbuildings, outside living spaces and generally any requests that would add additional shooting and editing time. Prices are based on a standard residential home with an averaged sized lot. San Diego real estate videography includes up to 30 minutes of edits and revisions at no charge after the first draft. The initial edit and revisions are billed out at $150 per hour. The minimum video editing charge is $75. Published San Diego videography and photography pricing is baseline pricing only. If the home is ready to shoot upon our arrival, then the baseline pricing will apply. However, if the home requires additional preparation or moving items from room to room, then expect the final invoice to be adjusted accordingly. It's best to arrive early and make sure the home is in the best condition possible prior to our arrival. We are glad to help move things around and clean up, if necessary, but you will be billed for the extra time.
PHOTOGRAPHY: San Diego real estate photography includes interior and exterior still pictures of every room and living area with the intent of making the space as large and visually appealing as possible. You can expect that all outside spaces will be shot as well as several angles that showcase the entire structure from different vantage points. Our San Diego real estate photographers generally use a variety of lenses including specialty lenses designed specifically for use in San Diego real estate photography. We shoot primarily with Canon and Sony a7 series full frame cameras.
AMENITIES: There is no charge for shooting amenities or common areas (up to 12 images) provided they are within close proximity to the listing. Off-site image requests that require driving and reloading of equipment will incur additional charges.
IMAGE COUNT: The image count of your San Diego real estate photography shoot will vary depending on the size of the property. Our intent is to tell the story completely. However, some larger properties with acreage or outbuildings may require more images than normal. In these instances the pricing will be adjusted to account for the extra time required to shoot and edit.
ON-SITE IMAGE APPROVALS: You will have an opportunity to view the unedited images on the camera monitor during or after the San Deigo real estate photography shoot. This is the time to make sure every area and room has been shot and to request additional pictures, angles, etc. Please review the images carefully prior to departing the listing.
EDITING: All of our images will be delivered with a basic edit included at no additional charge. Precise Editing requests including but not limited to fixing broken or fogged windows, replacing missing cabinet doors or fixtures, removal of tangled cords, virtual staging, object removal, etc, will be quoted and invoiced separately. There is no additional charge for sky replacements, adding fire to the fireplaces, or inserting images in the TV and computer monitors. It's usually easier and more efficient to correct any visual distractions during the shoot rather than in post production. Tangled cords are the worst. Best to coil them up and consolidate them in as small a space as possible.
DELIVERY OF IMAGES: The usual turnaround is before noon on the next business day M-F. Some larger listing may require an additional day of editing prior to delivery. Delivery of images can be delayed by circumstances beyond our control such as power outages, internet failures, equipment failures, etc. We are available to shoot and edit on weekends and holidays, but surcharges may apply for shooting and editing on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. You will receive one or more download links via email with options to download the edited high resolution files and two or more different sizes of the low resolution images with the same proportions as the original pictures but resized for the internet. You'll likely be using the 1920 x 1280 @ 72 dpi file size, but some MLS services have different specifications. Please let us know if the file size you need is not represented in the drop down menu in the gallery.
TRAVEL EXPENSES: There is no charge for travel to most areas in San Diego County if the travel time is under 30 minutes. However, some outlying areas such as Carlsbad, Oceanside, Ramona, Temecula, Alpine, Vista, Pine Valley, Julian, etc., will incur a travel fee. This can be determined at the time of booking.
VIDEO WALK-THROUGH: Includes interior and exterior video footage moving through and around the home. San Diego stock video footage is available for an additional charge. San Diego drone video footage may be incorporated into the final edit which may also include titles, music, graphics, logos, and other branding info. We produce a Branded and Unbranded version of every video walk-through project. Video pricing includes editing and up to 30 minutes of edits and revisions at no charge. The initial edit and revisions are billed out at $150 per hour. The minimum video editing charge is $75. Our published pricing for San Diego real estate videography is baseline only and represents the estimated cost. If the home is completely ready to go upon our arrival, then the baseline pricing will apply. However, if the home is not prepared and people and pets are wandering around or if we need to be moving furniture or other items, then expect to pay for the extra time. We require some creative license and latitude to make creative decisions about your San Diego real estate video project to keep it efficient and affordable. Please review samples of our work prior to booking to insure that our style closely matches your vision. If you tend to have extensive revisions for your video projects then we are probably not the best option for you unless you have an unlimited budget for San Diego real estate videography.

SAN DIEGO STOCK VIDEO FOOTAGE: Quoted separately.
SAN DIEGO AERIAL DRONE STILLS: Includes a minimum of 20 images of the listing from different distances and altitudes which includes the surrounding area and views as well as closer shots of the structure from lower altitudes and directly overhead. San Diego Drone images and video can only be made when in compliance with CFR Part 107 which restricts commercial drone activity in certain areas.
SAN DIEGO AERIAL DRONE STILLS AND VIDEO: Includes a minimum of 20 aerial still images as described above plus aerial video footage of the property and surrounding areas. Sad Diego stock aerial video footage of some areas is available for an additional charge.
SAN DIEGO MATTERPORT VIRTUAL 3D TOURS: San Diego 3-D tours using the Matterport camera system or the Ricoh 360 camera system are available. Turnaround is 1-2 business days. The listing must be fully prepared and it's helpful if the unit is unoccupied during the scanning session. A 4000 square foot home will take about 90-120 minutes to complete. San Diego Matterport tours remain online only for the life of the listing. Additional hosting fees will be assessed for long term hosting of San Diego 3D Matterport tours.
DETAIL PICTURES: Includes approximately 12 images usually focusing on the key architectural and design features of the home which may include, lighting fixtures, tile work, appliances, woodworking, plumbing fixtures, flooring, etc. Feel free to specify what features you would like to have highlighted.
CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULES: We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a previously booked San Diego Real Estate Photography photo shoot. Any jobs cancelled or rescheduled within the 24 hour window will be invoiced for the minimum charge of $210. The only exception to this policy is rain.
SATISFACTION STATEMENT: Our intent is to provide digital content for your San Diego real estate listings that you are completely satisfied with. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will make every reasonable attempt to make it right ASAP.
