Large homes with huge yards and pools pose some special challenges, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for us. There can be a lot of ground to cover and a ton of lighting gear to move between each angle, but we have this down to a science. We generally start a twilight shoot about 30 minutes prior to sunset and begin shooting inside on the shady side of the home. If there's a sunset view, we'll be ready to capture that from the optimal position and angle. The front and rear exterior photos take place at the end just as the stars begin to become visible. A twilight shoot takes and average of 90 minutes total.
